National Parks
Nepal has 16 national parks, wildlife reserves and conservation areas. Teaming with diverse wildlife and vegetation Nepal is a superb location for a Jungle Safari.

You cannot beat the experience of viewing wildlife in its natural habitat.

Royal Chitwan National Park and Bardia National Park are two of the best places to view wildlife in the whole of Asia. Home to some of the world's rarest animals.

Chitwan has more than 43 species of mammal including the one horned rhino, tiger and elephant and 450 types of bird, many of which are endangered, it covers an area of more than 932 sq km. Bardia is slightly larger at 968 sq km and is considered one of the most picturesque national parks in Asia. It too is home to many endangered species including the biggest group of wild elephant in Asia.

Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve whilst smaller than Chitwan and Bardia is still an important part of conservation in Nepal. Home to a large population of birds, and mammals, it is one of the only wetlands of international significance in Nepal and provides a perfect destination for nature enthusiasts.
